Works In Progress: Radio Skull! Ok, so I'm working like crazy on my art show which opens in Sept. at the Pony Club, and one of the things I'm doing is filling up a wall with small works, priced to (hopefully) sell. I thought it'd be interesting to show you the process I went through to make one of them.

I started with this drawing, just kind of doodling out of my head, thinking about Flemmish Portraiture and Moebius or something, and came out with this result.. I liked the face OK, but I didn't LOVE it.. So when I was painting I made some adjustments and came up with this:

I wish I'd scanned it in at some point midway through painting, just in case anyone wanted to see what a half-assed gouache approach I have.. Anyhow, the finished piece, complete with glowing blue skull! This and much more will be available for sale and perusal at my show in Sept.  ¶ 5:24 PM
